Nevertheless, in the future we would like to expand to other regions of Peru, in particular by means of strategic alliances with companies and institutions located in the regions with the highest rates of poverty. Do participants have to pay to participate in the ANKAY selection process (exam and interview)? No. ANKAY does not charge for the selection exam or for any type of process or examination which the participants or scholarship beneficiaries have to go through. Is it possible to participate a second time in the ANKAY selection process?Yes, but only if the participant is registered and attends classes in a public high school at the time of taking the exam again. What are the requirements for maintaining the ANKAY Scholarship?ANKAY evaluates the performance of the scholarship beneficiaries in the University on a case by case basis by means of an Evaluation Commission that meets at the end of every semester. University authorities can also participate in this Commission. If the student has had academic problems, the ANKAY team will design a program of personal support so the student can improve his or her performance. In extreme cases, the Evaluation Commission reserves the right to withdraw the benefits of the ANKAY Scholarship from a student who has not demonstrated a real interest in completing his or her university studies successfully. Is ANKAY a program of the Peruvian government? No. ANKAY has no relation with either the Peruvian government nor any other government. We do not have a connection with any political party, ANKAY does not support any electoral causes, nor does ANKAY receive financing motivated by any interests of this type. Also, ANKAY does not belong to and is not related to the United States government. ANKAY is an organization who unifies people, institutions and companies to identify and to develop the talent of young Peruvian students. |
